The STIHL Group develops, manufactures and sells motor-driven tools for forestry and agriculture as well as for landscape conservation, the construction industry and private garden owners. Digital solutions and services complement our wide range of products. STIHL products are generally sold through service dealers – with 44 of its own sales and marketing companies, around 120 importers and more than 55,000 specialist dealers in over 160 countries. In addition, STIHL has its own online shops, which will be expanded internationally over the next few years. STIHL produces in seven countries worldwide: Germany, United States, Brazil, Switzerland, Austria, China and the Philippines. Since 1971, STIHL has been the best-selling chainsaw brand in the world. The company was founded in 1926 and is headquartered in Waiblingen near Stuttgart.
